The front is a picture of tractor, offset printed on a light grass green background, with shading, and gravure printed in brown and yellow tones; the reverse is offset printed with the national emblem and “People’s Bank of China, one-jiao” in Chinese, Mongolian, Tibetan and Uighur characters, offset printed on a light grass green background, brown , yellow tone; hollow five-pointed star watermark. The banknote was issued on March 1, 1955, and was only accepted but not paid on December 15, 1967. It ceased circulation on January 1, 1999. Ticket size is 115 × 52.5 mm (4.53 × 2.07 inches).
