The banknote was issued on January 10, 1966. Starting from March 1, 1996, it was only received and paid, but will no longer be paid out by the bank. It ceased circulation on July 1, 2000 (except for some counties in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province and Yongzhou City, Hunan Province). Commonly known as “Great Unity”. The year number on the plate is “1965”.
