The front shows a picture of the people’s representatives walking out of the Great Hall of the People, in black; the back shows the national emblem and Tiananmen, in black and red; the Tiananmen image has a fixed watermark. The banknote was issued on January 10, 1966. Starting from March 1, 1996, it was only received and paid, but will no longer be paid out by the bank. It ceased circulation on July 1, 2000 (except for some counties in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province and Yongzhou City, Hunan Province). Commonly known as “Great Unity”. The year number on the plate is “1965”.
