The front side portraits of Han and Mongolian figures from right to left, in brown tones; the reverse side features a picture of Mount Everest, in silver-white tones. The banknote was issued on September 22, 1988. since 2004, banks only receive and do not pay the banknote, and on May 1, 2018, it ceased to circulate. The specification is: 155 x 70 millimeters.
