On the front, from right to left, Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi and Zhu De are depicted in profile, in blue and black tone; on the back, the main peak of Jinggang Mountain is depicted, in blue and black tone. The banknote is the 1990 version, issued on August 20, 1992. Compared with the 1980 version, the anti-counterfeiting design has been strengthened and the metal anti-counterfeiting line has been added.Since 2004, banks only receive and pay for the banknotes without paying for them, and on May 1, 2018, they ceased to circulate.
