Obverse: tree rings and representative partial patterns of the first to fifth sets of RMB. On the upper left is the national emblem and the name of the “People’s Bank of China”, and below it are the words “The 70th Anniversary of the Issuance of RMB” and “1948-2018”. On the lower left side of the ticket is the face value number “50”, and on the upper right side is the face value number “50” and the Chinese character “Fifty-Yuan”.
Reverse: The People’s Bank of China building, supplemented by peonies, the former site of the People’s Bank of China, the first set of RMB issuance notices and city architectural silhouettes. In the upper left corner of the note is the face value number “50”, the Chinese pinyin letters of the People’s Bank of China and the words “People’s Bank of China” and the face value in the four ethnic languages of Mongolian, Tibetan, Uighur and Zhuang. Below the face of the ticket are the president’s seal and the year number text “2018”. In the lower right corner of the ticket face are the face value number “50” and the Chinese pinyin letters “YUAN”.
